You must first enroll in the Adult Learning Seminar offered in the spring and fall terms. You will create an initial portfolio at no cost as part of the coursework. Subsequent portfolios will require a payment of $250 when submitted to the PLUS office for review. The portfolio will not be processed until payment is made. Any portfolio’s that you want to submit must be submitted prior to the start of your last semester in the program. She worked at Southwestern Bell Corporation (SBC) in Oklahoma City for 26 years and retired in November, 2003. As a working adult, Carol completed her bachelor’s degree in May, 2003, at OCU. “I initially enrolled in the OCU PLUS program in summer 1988, but with a high school student at home, I realized I was not able to devote time and attention to college studies. After my daughter graduated from high school and moved to Tulsa to attend college, I decided it was time for me to return! I re-entered the OCU PLUS program in fall 1994, completing my Bachelor of Arts in Professional Studies with a concentration in Business at OCU in May 2003.” In spring 2004, Carol enrolled in the College of Education at Oklahoma State University-Tulsa (OSU-Tulsa). This course provides students with the career management skills essential to effectively identify and compete for professional career opportunities within their chosen profession.
