Family Guidance Center Corporation’s Mission Statement:
The Mission of Family Guidance Center is to provide high quality,
community based services to a culturally diverse population
through its programs in mental health, addictions, family and
financial counseling and education. The center is committed to
providing services that are geographically and financially
accessible based upon evaluations of individual and family needs
which are delivered in a fair and compassionate manner.
The Family Guidance Center HIV Care Coordination Office is
funded by a grant from the New Jersey State Department of Health
and Senior Services, Division of HIV/AIDS Services. The office
provides the following services: HIV Case Management
Coordination, transportation assistance, emergency financial
assistance and mental health counseling referral services. The
office strives to serve those people with HIV or AIDS, who are
living, working or receiving services in Mercer County. This guide
will assist clients to access appropriate care providers.

Bucks Villa is a HUD subsidized group residence for independent living. Applicants
will be adult individuals who have HIV and a disability as documented by the Social
Security Administration. The Villa has eight furnished, cable ready, private rooms.
Each room has a private bath and many of these baths are wheelchair accessible.
Residents share the common areas, which include a large living room and den, a
dining room, kitchen and laundry. Amenities such as grocery, pharmacy, banking,
post office, the local library and several churches are well within walking distance of
the Villa. The rent will never be more than 30% of the resident’s gross monthly
income and can be paid in cash or money order. Utilities are included. Support
services are available at no charge through the HIV/AIDS Program of Family Service
Assn. Case management services are available in English and Spanish.

Comprehensive HIV care serving central New Jersey and Bucks County, PA. Services
include:
Free, confidential HIV testing including pre- and post-test counseling. EIS uses the
OraSure method of HIV testing, a non-invasive (no needle) type of test and the
OraQuick rapid testing method (requires a finger prick blood sample).
Aggressive treatment of HIV Disease including four (4) on-site Infectious Diseases
specialists. Psychiatric care, Gynecological care, and HIV/HCV (hepatitis C) coinfection treatment. Referral based care includes Dental care, Nutritional counseling,
Vision care and over 50 sub-specialty healthcare providers.
Supportive services including on-site HIV case management services, treatment
education and medication adherence counseling. Off-site Men’s HIV support group,
Women’s HIV support group, HIV University and Newly Diagnosed Education Support
Group. Referral based services include (based on eligibility) legal services, nutrition
