If you have written a script for a feature film, tele-movie or TV series (one episode), don’t miss out on this amazing
opportunity to win the BOFA Devil Script Award AND get your work read at BOFA 2015 by professional actors
from Mudlark Theatre (TBC) in front of a moderated audience including mainland and Tasmanian screen industry
guests, who will give their feedback on the script.
The shortlist and the winner will be publicly announced at a drinks event open to the film industry on Saturday
afternoon (5.30pm, 9th November) at the BOFA Film Festival, where the winner will be presented with a hand
crafted blown glass BOFA Devil Award. The short listed screen writers, including the winner, will be sent a FREE 8
pass to see 8 films of their choice.
Criteria
To be eligible you must:

Be a Tasmanian resident.

Have a completed script for feature film, tele-movie or TV series (episode).

Have not submitted this screen play to BOFA in previous years.

Own all the rights to the project.

Judging
Judges TBA
In the first round judges will assess the applications for:

Excellence in craft and skill
•
The potential for the project to be produced
A short list will be determined according to the above criteria. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted by telephone
at the end of the first round. In the second round, the short-listed applicant’s full script will be assessed. The
shortlist and the winner will be publicly announced at a drinks event open to the film industry on Saturday
afternoon (5.30pm, 7th November) at the BOFA Film Festival.
