Submission Guidance
The PIQ Entry Form submission guidelines and review process are detailed below and
presented diagrammatically in Appendix A and Appendix B.
1. Suppliers must complete the PIQ Entry Form below in its entirety, and in line with any
guidance provided in italics below the question text.
2. Suppliers must not embed documents in the form below or exceed the stated
maximum word count for each question.
3. Supplier must not reference other documents in their question responses.
4. Suppliers must save the form as ‘PIQ Entry Form
Supplier_Name_ProductNamedd_mm_yyyy’ and email the form as an attachment
to gasg@hscic.gov.uk. The email subject line must be identical to the document title.
If a Supplier submits more than one PIQ Form on a single day, the naming convention
should be amended to include “_a”, “_b” or “_c” as a suffix to “dd_mm_yyyy”.
5. Each PIQ Entry Form must be submitted in a separate email.
6. The Authority will confirm receipt of PIQ Entry Form within 1 working day of
submission.
7. PIQ Entry Forms are reviewed on a two week rolling basis. The PIQ Entry Period
closes at 17:00 on alternate Fridays. For more information about the forthcoming
deadlines, please see the Interface Mechanism webpage. PIQ Entry forms submitted
within each PIQ Entry Period will be taken forward to the two stage review process.
8. The PIQ Entry Form will first be reviewed by the Authority (PIQ Review 1) in the 3
working days following the closure of the PIQ Entry Period.

10. If the PIQ Entry Form is approved at PIQ Review 1, the Entry Form will be circulated
to members of the GPSoC Assurance Steering Group (GASG) for PIQ Review 2 (7
working days). The confidential information in Section 3 will not be circulated to
members of the GASG.
11. The outcome of PIQ Review 2 will be discussed and verified at the fortnightly GASG
meeting and a response will be agreed. The 3 possible outcomes are:
a. Accepted. Approved access to HSCIC’s assurance process and access to all
relevant Principal Supplier’s Unsupported Test Environment (UTE) and Pairing
Integration Pack (PIP) will be granted subject to signature of NDA’s and
completion of a Booking Form.
b. Accepted with Conditions. Approved access to HSCIC’s assurance process
and access to all relevant Principal Supplier PIP(s) and UTE(s) will be granted
subject to specified conditions being met.
c. Objections Raised. Specific objections will be detailed in the response to
allow the Supplier to address the issues and resubmit the Form at a later date.
12. Within 15 working days of the end of the PIQ Entry Period the Supplier will be
informed by email of the outcome of PIQ Review 2. If successful, a PIQ Induction
Teleconference may be arranged, if required, according to the availability detailed in
the Supplier response to Question 1.11.
13. If successful, a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with each Principal Supplier the
applicant wishes to integrate with will be issued by the GPSoC Team on the same
working day that the PIQ Form is approved. This agreement will secure your access
to the Principal Supplier’s Pairing Integration Packs (PIPs) and Unsupported Test
Environments (UTEs). Approved suppliers will also be provided with a UTE Booking
form for completion and return. Please see Appendix C for further details of this
process.
