Chair Application Form – UNISCA 2013 Introduction With this form, you can apply for a Chair position for UNISCA 2013. Please fill out this form digitally and completely. Since Chair positions for UNISCA 2013 are only available for Master Programme students and limited to twelve people, UNISCA has chosen to select this years Chairs through a thorough selection process. Please note that the Chair application must be completed by April 15th; any applications handed in after this date will not be taken into consideration. After expiration of the application deadline, you will be informed as soon as possible if you have been selected for an interview. This preliminary selection will be based on the basis of your Curriculum Vitae, a motivation letter of approximately 500 words and a scan of your official University Transcript. Chair Programme Application Please choose 3 committees of preference. Note that we cannot guarantee that you will be placed in your committee of preference, however if you elaborate on your committee of preference in your motivation letter, this will be taken into consideration. If you are admitted to the programme, you will be informed about the committee you will be chairing a few days after your interview. Admittance 2 of 3 Chair Application Form – UNISCA 2013 When you apply for a delegate position, you will be notified whether you have been invited for an interview shortly after the registration period (April 15th) Placing in committees All Chairs will be divided into committees once the selection process has been completed. Unfortunately, as mentioned above, UNISCA cannot guarantee that you will be placed in the committee of your preference, however we will try to suit your preferences to the best of our abilities. If you are selected as a UNISCA 2012 Chair, you are expected to attend the Introduction evening on Wednesday May 15th, where you will have the opportunity to meet the delegates you will be presiding on during the conference. In time you will receive an e-mail with further information on the Introduction evening. Examination All Chairs must write an extensive paper prior to UNISCA’s commencement. The deadline for this paper is June 15th. During the first week of UNISCA, Chairs are expected to take an exam as well as participate in special Chair training, provided by the UNISCA Secretary General.
