“INSIGHT" is the name for the new platform for Emerald Group Publishing’s product and
service delivery. Built with new technology, this high quality platform will bring easier
and faster navigation, facilitate searching across all Emerald products, and provide the
ability for user customisation.
“INSIGHT” better enables Emerald to comply with industry standards such as COUNTER,
OpenURL and Shibboleth.
Using “INSIGHT”, information professionals will find it easier to integrate Emerald
products into their information systems.
Bill Russell, Director: Academic Sector at Emerald, says, “We are excited about the new
possibilities offered by this innovative platform. We now have the flexibility needed to
deliver the new products our customers want. Launching in December 2004, the first of
these new products will be Emerald Management Xtra, the largest, most comprehensive
