3) Recruiting Event, Concept Exploration/Phantom Works, The Boeing Co.
Oct 12 and 13: Concept Exploration (Phantom Works, Integrated Defense
Systems, The Boeing Company) has multiple openings for interns, co-ops
and full-time employment, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Concept Exploration develops advanced, high-performance unmanned
aircraft. Formerly Frontier Systems, the current focus is on the A160
Hummingbird, an advanced, unmanned helicopter whose patented rotor
technology and innovative subsystems offer dramatically improved
performance over conventional helicopters. A small, closely-knit team of
engineers, manufacturing specialists, and administrators work in state-of-theart facilities in beautiful Southern California. Come to learn about unmanned
helicopters and a future job!

4) AIESEC Work Abroad Fair: October 13 & 14 from 10AM-2PM in the
Student Center Piedmont Room. Find internships in over 100 countries for all
majors! Choose from companies such as PwC, DHL, Microsoft and many
more.
5) JPL on-campus: NASA Jet Propulsion Lab recruiters will be coming to
campus on October 14th - 16th. They will conduct an info session (Wed Oct
14, 5:30 PM - 7 PM, Clary Theater), and on-campus interviews (ThursdayFriday, Oct 15-16). Full time and internship/co-op positions available. Please

6) Research in Motion (RIM) Info Session: Oct 21st : RIM is a leader in
wireless communications. Products include the Blackberry wireless email
solution, wireless handhelds and wireless modems. The Info Session is open
to any EE, CompE, CS, and IE students that are interested in future Coop/Intern positions at RIM.
The info session runs from 6:30-8:30PM on Oct 21st in the Bill Moore Student
Success Center. There will be pizza and soda provided and a BlackBerry
give-away at the end of the night.

9) DoD Smart Scholarships and Internships: The Science, Mathematics and
Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship for Service Program has
been established by the Department of Defense (DoD) to support
undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in Science,
Technology, Engineering and Mathematics disciplines. The 2010 SMART
Scholarship application window opened on August 15, 2009, and applications
will be accepted through December 15, 2009.
SMART Scholars Receive award of $25,000 - $41,000 per year depending on
prior educational experience, full tuition and book allowance, health insurance
reimbursement allowance, summer internships (multi-year participants), and
post-graduation career opportunities. Please visit
