Oct 12 and 13: Concept Exploration (Phantom Works, Integrated Defense Systems, The Boeing Company) has multiple openings for interns, co-ops and full-time employment, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Concept Exploration develops advanced, high-performance unmanned aircraft. Formerly Frontier Systems, the current focus is on the A160 Hummingbird, an advanced, unmanned helicopter whose patented rotor technology and innovative subsystems offer dramatically improved performance over conventional helicopters. A small, closely-knit team of engineers, manufacturing specialists, and administrators work in state-of-theart facilities in beautiful Southern California. The 2010 SMART Scholarship application window opened on August 15, 2009, and applications will be accepted through December 15, 2009. SMART Scholars Receive award of $25,000 - $41,000 per year depending on prior educational experience, full tuition and book allowance, health insurance reimbursement allowance, summer internships (multi-year participants), and post-graduation career opportunities.
