Description
When adding guest accounts, the email that gets sent out refers to a guest account and password
but doesn't include clear instructions on how to obtain it. Most users would expect the email to
include the guest account and password. Below is the email that is sent to a guest (I've crossed
out the email address):
xxxxxxx@gmail.com:
You have been added to the following SakaiAtWeber site:
IST 1100 ONL Sum 06 10141
by Sakai Administrator.
To log in, you must first get a guest account. A guest account is a special kind of account that is
used to give non-Sakai University members access to the general Sakai University web
environment. The Sakai University web environment includes many tools and services, one of
which is Sakai.
Once you have your guest account, you can log in to SakaiAtWeber:
1. Open SakaiAtWeber: http://sakai.weber.edu/portal
2. Click the Login button.
3. Type your guest account login and password, and click Login.
4. Go to the site, click on the site tab. (You will see two or more tabs in a row across the upper
part of the screen.)

I think each institution has to edit this message in their installation to provide details as to how
that institution's guest account process works. The process of obtaining a guest account is likely
different at each institution.

This is really not an issue with Sakai, rather a configuration choice that a local institution needs
to make.
