We are now looking for a Motor Vehicle Teacher to join our team at our Chester Campus. The successful candidate will have relevant industry experience and an ability to deliver to students from a wide range of age groups and with a range of skills levels, from schools programmes through to apprentices as well as delivering training to employees from industry.

Reporting to: Programme Leader
Main Purpose of position:
To design, develop, co-ordinate and deliver teaching, learning, assessment and support in relevant curriculum areas to ensure learners achieve their aims.
Duties:
to deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment to a range of learners in different environments
to carry out associated organisational and administrative work, which may include qualification leadership, publicity, public relations, providing information, participation in meetings and case conferences, interviewing, preparation of appropriate registers and statistical returns related to teaching and learning and assessment of learners
to act as a personal tutor to a cohort of learners
to liaise with external bodies as appropriate and to work with the programme leader to ensure that requirements for accreditation and continued approval are met
to prepare teaching and learning activities and to mark and assess learners work
to ensure that teaching, learning and assessment have adequate resources
to liaise with the staff across the college to contribute to the development of flexible and responsive delivery modes.

to develop the curriculum including the design, planning and evaluation of courses and course materials
