MEASURING and HEIGHT CARD INFORMATION
All agility dogs are required to have an Official Jump Height Card/Valid yellow
form and exhibitors must be able to present it prior to running their dog(s) in any
class or at any time during the trial upon request whether or not they have sent a
copy of such with their entry. Dogs without a valid Jump Height Card/Form may still
compete; but they must be measured/wicketed by the Judge of Record PRIOR to
running in their class and this measurement will be valid for that weekend of trials
only. The exception to this requirement is a dog entered in the 24” or 26” height
division. However, if a Volunteer Measuring Official (VMO) or an Agility Field
Rep is present; ALL dogs without a valid Jump Height Card/Form must be
measured at some time during the trial or cluster of trials. This does not preclude
having the dog wicketed by the Judge of Record if the VMO or Rep is not available
to measure the dog before its first run of the trial or cluster of trials. It is the
exhibitor’s responsibility to have their dog measured prior to running and failure to
do so will result in the cancellation of any qualifying scores.
Classes Offered
Regular Titling: Novice A & B, Open, Excellent A & B for Standard and JWW and
FAST. Preferred: Novice, Open, Excellent A & B for both Standard and JWW and
FAST. Owners are responsible for entering the proper class and height. Complete
rules can be found on the AKC website at www.akc.org. For a copy of the rule book
write to: American Kennel Club, 5580 Centerview Dr., Raleigh, NC 27606-3390. To
place a credit card order by telephone call: 919-233-9767 voice and 919-816-3627
fax. Minimum order is $10. Obstacles will conform to the current edition of the
AKC Regulations for Agility Trials.

more than one dog in a class will have those dogs separated as much as
possible.
●
All dogs must be on leash, except when in the ring or when in the
designated agility warm-up area.
Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent,
disqualified, excused or barred from competition by action of the Trial
Committee.
No entry fee will be refunded if this event cannot be held or completed
for any cause beyond the control of the organizing committee.
●
Move-Up Regulations
Dogs may be moved up to a higher class at the request of the owner, as a result of
qualifying for an agility title, provided that the request is received in writing by the
Trial Secretary, no later than 6:00 p.m. on the Monday preceding the event. Sunday
move ups will be allowed provided that the request is received in writing by the Trial
Secretary no later than 30 minutes after the last dog has crossed the finish line on
Saturday.
This event is open to all AKC registered dogs 15 months of age or
older that are registered with the American Kennel Club or that have
