1. Running Staff sanction has been reviewed including CLI and Drafted Running Supervisor as
per GM (P) Memorandum No. 20/2012 vide letter no. ECR/HRD/MPP/Creation of posts/2012,
dated 26/09/2012.
2. 12 nos. LPG have promoted as LPP.
3. 26 nos. of LPS/ALP have been promoted to LPG on 28/02/2013 and they are under road
learning. They will be on line by 20th April.

ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE MONTH:

Close monitoring for Ten Hours Implementation of Running Staff are being done on
daily basis to avoid long hours duty in goods trains. Relief crews are being sent enroute.

52 nos. of speedometers chart analysis has been done in the month of March’13 to
check the brake power test in brake testing zones, over speeding in SR zone,
Derailment/Accident, Running of train on booked speed. 02 nos. cases of Over speed
running train & 01 no. case of Brake feel test not done has been detected.

Numbers of surprise /ambush checks & night foot plate inspections are being done by
TRS/Operation officers and Loco Inspectors to check alertness of crew.

Improvement in following operational parameters has been achieved: -

Engine KM per engine per day (March’13–514) is improved by 10.78% in
comparison of corresponding month of last year (March.’12–464).

Ten hours % age is improve during the year 2012 – 13 by 16.48 % in
comparison to last year.

Same power goods loco detachment has been reduced during the year
by 27.84 % in comparison to last year.

Average speedometers data analysis of different types of ESMON per
month has been increased by 27 nos. to 71 nos. during the year 2012–
13.

Good work done by Loco Pilot
On dated 06/03/2013, train no. DER hauled by loco no. 28004/WAG7/CNB, manned by Sri Sanjay Kumar Singh, Loco Pilot/MGS & Sri Vivek
Srivastava, ALP/MGS.
While entering in JPL as Starter Signal was Red, crew observed sudden
jerk in between KM no. 365/29 to 365/31. Train immediate stopped at
11:59 hrs. & inform to SM JPL. On checking of that spot, found Rail
fracture between KM no. 365/29 – 31. PWI staff attended the track and
served 10 KMPH caution. Train started at 13:12 hrs.
Sri Sanjay Kumar Singh, Loco Pilot/MGS and Sri Vivek Srivastava,
ALP/MGS performed excellent job and save an accident so, nominated as
Man of the Month.

11.4
Assistance required
1.
The post of Sr. DEE/OP/MGS is a temporary post created by Railway Board. It is
requested to kindly arrange the extension of temporary post beyond 30/06/2010 at
earliest please.
2.
A fresh indent for filling up DR quota vacancies of 589 nos. of ALP/Elct. has been
placed to GM (P)/E.C. Rly./Hajipur by Personnel Department vide Sr. DPO/MGS’s
letter no. E/MPP/RRB–Indent/MGS/12, dated 05/11/2012.
