Aims
A recurrent training on the Dangerous Goods Regulations must be taken within 24 months following your
completion of the Initial Dangerous Goods Regulations course. This course brings students up to date on recent
changes made by the ICAO and the IATA, both detailed on the current edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods
Regulations.
Course Objectives
The Course is using the current edition of IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) as backbone to update and

Contents:
The technical contents of “Initial Dangerous Goods Regulations Training” and “Recurrent Dangerous Goods
Regulations Training” is based on the 2011 IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations 52nd edition with reference to the
IATA Dangerous Goods Training Workbooks (Book 1) 34th Edition and the contents will be amended to the
current edition of the ICAO/IATA DGR.
Admission Requirements :
Applicants must be:

Certificate holder of recognized “Initial Dangerous Goods Regulations Training” and “Recurrent Dangerous
Goods Regulations Training” course which is not yet expired. (Proof of certificate is required.)

Personnel working in shipper, air freight industry and airlines that wish to become qualified to sign the
"Shipper's Declaration for Dangerous Goods,

Able to communicate in Chinese.

Cantonese, with English course workbook

IATA/CAD recognized and qualified Instructor

Assessment and Recognition :
1.
Every student is required to sit in the final examination.
2.
To be eligible for the award of the certificate, participants must PASS the test with 80 marks or above
(total: 100 mark). A student obtaining a score of less than 80% is failed.
3.
Only person who passed the Dangerous goods Regulations training course within the past 24 months can
sign the "Shipper's Declaration for Dangerous Goods".
4.
Participant who fails in the test is required to attend the training course again and re-take the test; or have
self-study and re-take the test one time only (within 2 months according to Alliance’s assigned session.
Provided there is no change in the handling procedures and requirements from CAD HKSAR, IATA/ICAO.)
5.
Information of the qualified student will be filed to the CAD for record.

HK$ 3,000 per seat
Note: The course fee does not include the IATA DGR Manual 52nd Edition

Participants are required to register before 09:15. Please be punctual and Alliance reserves the right on the
test qualification.

General Information:
1.
The course is co-organized Supply Chain Security Association Limited, and implemented by Alliance.
2.
Applicants should complete the enrollment form and send by fax or email to us. Phone registration will not be
accepted. All enrolment forms will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
3.
Payment in full shall be settled by company cheque made payable to “Supply Chain Security Association Limited”
and mail to Unit 1701, 17/F, Golden Era Plaza, 39 Sai Yee Street, Mongkok, Kowloon or transferred to A/C at
#384-128195883 at Hang Seng Bank and fax it at 23318609 within five working days upon sending the enrollment
form. (Note: Please write down the company name and trainee’s name on cheque or bank receipt for identification.)
4.
Letter of confirmation with course details will be sent out by email. Participant is required to bring the letter upon
registration at date of training. Alliance reserves the right on the qualification of course participation.
5.
Cancellation / amendment must be made 7 working days before commencement of the class. Request made less
than 7 workings days are subject to an administration fee of HK$ 1,000. No refund will be given after commencement
of each class.
6.
Alliance reserves the right to alter the details of the course, such as date, time, venue and substitution of instructor(s)
and to cancel course(s).
7.
No class will be held upon announcement of storm warning signal No. 8 or above. After the typhoon passes, if the No.
8 signal is lowered (before 7am in the case of morning classes, and before 12 noon in the case of afternoon classes),
classes will meet as usual; otherwise classes will be postponed. For rainstorm black warning, the arrangement will
be similar.
