We specialize in orchid hybrids and species native to low and intermediate elevation
tropical forests, where temperatures are above 70ºF and humidity is high. All plants
offered are flasked in our laboratory and nursery propagated. We are located 30 minutes
away from Panama City, on the Transisthmian highway, near the Panama Canal. Visitors

Florida, every May, and other U.S. orchid shows. Plants from this list can be preordered

exporting the plants into the U.S. A minimum purchase of $100.00 is required to preorder.
PLANT SIZES
SEEDLINGS. Species and hybrids are sold growing in trays or small pots, 8 to 12 months
from the flask, with well-developed roots, ready to be planted in pots. Seedlings are sold as
individual plants and shipped with bare roots in moss.
NEAR BLOOMING SIZE, NBS. Usually these are the fastest growing plants, they are
larger, close to flowering.
BLOOMING SIZE, BS: These are large-sized plants, usually with 3-5 bulbs that have
reached flowering size or flowered previously.

ZAMIAS
Considered as living fossils of the plant kingdon, these plants have been in earth before
the dinosaurs. Atractive palm like plants (they are not orchids), belonging to a unique
family with separate sexes, male and female plants producing large seed cones. Their size
stays small enough to keep them in the house or greenhouse for several years. Appropiate
for low light conditions. Cites Apendix 1 plants, they have been reproduced for two
