WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 1.1 WCCC Finals The Final of the 29th WCCC was started on 20/06/2015 with 17 players from 11 different countries. The TD is IA Ian M. Pheby (ENG). The Final of the 26th WCCC ended on 27/06/2015. The winner, GM Ron Langeveld (NED), was already known. The runner-up was GM Florin Şerban (ROU) and GM Rafael Leitão (BRA) got the third place. The Final of the 28th WCCC, started on 10/06/2013, is going on regularly, with 89% of the games already finished. 1.2 WCCC Candidates’ Tournaments The Sections of the 32nd the 33rd and the 34th WCCC (started in 2012, 2013 and 2014) are going on regularly. The 2015 Sections (35th WCCC) will start on 20/09/2015. 1.3 WCCC Semifinals The Sections of the 37th and the 38th WCCC (started in 2013 and 2014) are going on regularly. The 2015 Sections (39th WCCC) were started on 20/06/2015 (11 Sections with 121 players). 1.4 WCCC Preliminaries The Sections of the 37th and the 38th WCCC (started in 2013 and 2014) are going on regularly. The 2015 Sections (39th WCCC) were started on 20/03/2015 (12 Sections with 156 players). 1 2. LADIES’ WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2.1 LWCCC Finals The Final of the 9th LWCCC ended on 25/09/2014 after problematic adjudications. The new Ladies’ World Champion is IM and LGM Irina Vladimirovna Perevertkina (RUS); LGM Maria Aleksandrovna Lisitcina (RUS) was the runner-up and LGM Vilma Dambrauskaitè (LTU) got the third place. The Final of the 10th LWCCC was started on 20/11/2014 with 11 players from 8 different countries. The TD is IA Ian M. Pheby (ENG). 2.2 LWCCC Semifinals The Semifinals of the 11th LWCCC were also started on 20/11/2014 (2 Sections with 30 players). The TD is IA Ian M. Pheby (ENG). 3. OLYMPIADS 3.1 CC Olympiads Finals The Final of the 16th Olympiad (postal) is still ongoing. There are only 2 running games, but the winner team is already known: the Czech Republic. The runner-up is Germany and France has got the third place. The Final of the 18th Olympiad (webserver) is going on regularly. There are still 7 running games. Germany, Russia, Slovenia and Spain are fighting for the medal places. 3.2 CC Olympiads Preliminaries The Semifinals of the 19th Olympiad (postal) are still ongoing, with many running games. The Semifinals of the 20th Olympiad (webserver) are quite over: just one game is still running. 4. LADIES’ OLYMPIADS See point 7.7. 5. GRAND MASTER NORM TOURNAMENTS 5 GMN Sections were started in 2014 (in 2013 the GMN Sections were 4). 2 GMN Sections have been started in the first 6 months of 2015. Unfortunately the waiting time is high. 2 6. MASTER NORM TOURNAMENTS 14 MN Sections were started in 2014 (in 2013 the MN Sections were 16). 6 MN Sections have been started in the first 6 months of 2015. The waiting time is quite low. 7. NEXT NORM TOURNAMENTS TO BE STARTED 7.1 WCCC Final The Final of the 30th WCCC is planned to start on June 2017. 7.2 WCCC Candidates’ Tournaments The Candidates’ Tournament of the 35th WCCC was already announced and is planned to start on 20/09/2015. 7.3 WCCC Semifinales The Semifinals of the 40th WCCC are planned to start on June 2016. 7.4 WCCC Preliminaries The Preliminaries of the 40th WCCC are planned to start on March 2016. 7.5 Ladies’ World Championships The Final of the 11th LWCCC and the Semifinals of the 12th LWCCC will start not before the end of 2016. 7.6 Olympiads The Final of the 20th Olympiad and the Preliminaries of the 22nd Olympiad (both played by web-server) are planned to start on December 2015. The Final of the 19th Olympiad, played by post, is planned to start on June 2016 if the qualified teams will be known in due time. The Preliminaries of the 21st Olympiad, played by post, could start on the same date, unless the Congress will decide to dismiss the postal Olympiads. 7.7 Ladies’ Olympiads The 10th Ladies’ Olympiad will start on 1/09/2015. 12 Member Federations entered a team. 8. DEPUTY TTC Neil Limbert decided to resign from the office of Deputy TTC. Many thanks to Neil for is dedicated work! The new Deputy TTC is Rubens Battistini (ITA). 3 9.
