The problem of a home delivery is that it happens during the working hours of the week. Most of the time,
you’re working at this time !
Lots of people have no other choice but choose a delivery in relay point (ex : kiala).
This kind of delivery also has its own problem : the relay point is closed for various reasons (holidays,
natural disaster, strike, syndicate wars or just because it’s too late !)
If the picking point is open, you still must hope that there won’t be too many people inside. If you don’t
have time to wait, you must come back another day. Otherwise you can wait, hope the your package has
already been transferred to this point, that the picking point’s owner has not lost it (or offered it to his
nephew !) and finally, that you didn’t forget you ID at home, next to your bed !

MotelBox offers a delivery in secured parcels, open 24/7 and located in easily accessible and open to
public places.
The MotelBox user orders online and ask a delivery in our storage hall. For this purpose, the user fills the
first line of the shipping address with our address. The second line of this shipping adress is the unique
code that tells to our delivery guy which MotelBox has been chosen by the user.
As soon as we receive the package, we transfer it to the MotelBox and the user receive a personnal code
for picking up.

The biggest companies that offers a similar (or almost) service are :

BPost : also offers a secured parcels delivery in the vein of MotelBox.
Kiala : offers a delivery service in picking point (shops, bookshops mostly).
MotelBox, why ? What are the advantages ?
Deliveries via MotelBox come to a unique storage hall and are all gathered in this hall, safe.
But the biggest advantage of MotelBox, in oppostion to its competitors, is that you can order ANYWHERE
in the WORLD !
Indeed we don’t have particular partnerships with online selling sites and so, we allow to our users the
ability to order on stranger sites (like amazon) or on selling sites that don’t have (don’t need ?) a
partnership (like ldlc.be, zalando…)
MotelBox, how much ?
The secured parcels delivery cost 2€ per package for a delivery in any of our MotelBox and any size/weight
in our range. User pays sirectly MotelBox through our website.
2€ is half the price of a kiala delivery.
Why do users have to pay for MotelBox ? Why not free, justa as the BPost ?
First, because we must eat !
Second, because BPost is not free ! The BPost user doesn’t have to pay for using the parcels but the
delivery cost from the partner site are higher if you chose a delivery in parcel. Soit’s definitely not free !
Futhermore, as a user of BPost, you will never know what’s the amount of money involved in the parcel
delivery.
With MotelBox, it’s 2€. You know it, you accept it !
