straight.

abnormality. The gelding was impounded for further veterinary and analytical
examination.
App M Hanif, the rider of EXCELLENT GOAL, reported that his mount was not striding
out freely. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality.
When questioned regarding the apparent improved performance of BERNI DANCER
(KT Cheng), Trainer P Pereira was of the opinion that BERNI DANCER was not suited
to the 1100m straight course in Ipoh on 16th May 2015. He also found that this mare had
been having skin trouble and as such, had been kept in air-conditioned stabling since the
last run. His explanation was noted and his attention was drawn to the rules regarding
“in-and-out” running. He was advised that should BERNI DANCER prove to be
inconsistent or unreliable in the future, it may be suspended.
