The Task Team appointed for this task is Maintenance Task Data Task Team MTDTT and the task leader is Leif Gyllström (Saab Aerotech). A similar activity (limited to task data) is just starting within the S3000L project. Leif is the task leader for this activity as well. As earlier agreed, we will not have to parallel teams but only one. If there are no objections, we will do the job under the acronym MTDTT. Reporting will be done to both projects (S1000D and S3000L). By joining the two forces we will save time, costs, sweat and tears. Note: The S3000L project is also an AIA Project, thus ASD and AIA working together. Product breakdown for support DEX1A&D is the fundamental DEX for us as this gives the structure of the product and the applicability tied to the design (normally via a PDM application). We have to make sure that the structure from design fits into our support/maintenance structure and our applicability model. If necessary we might need to make some modifications to applicability in S1000D at Iss 4.0. If we are lucky and do a good job this could be minimzed. Task specification DEX3A&D is more or less the equivalent to the "old" LSAR defined in MIL-STD-1388-2B. The task specification will take care of exchange of all task specific data within the LSA (ILS?) MTDTT Meeting call 533576126 2007-07-10 Page 1 AE-TPSMG-01000-00 TPSMG-2007-099-01 Invitation process and eg communicate the basic information between the "LSAR database" to the publication CSDB. If well done the DEX3A&D will substitute the maintenance planning data modules and in a structured form exchange all maintenance planning data (much more than we normally can see in a military maintenance plan). For this DEX it is important to use the experience from civil aviation. The first meeting (Kick-off) is planned for 4-6 September 2007 (venue to be decided when we know who will attend). Looking forward to cooperate with you, with the aim to have two commonly agreed DEXes for the support of primarily S1000D and S3000L and the international user community.
