NOTE: Some of the material in this database is just an

Biography will provide biographical information about a
given author; Contemporary Literary Criticism Select
provides excerpts, not the whole article/essay, of
criticisms, Novels for Students provides brief analysis of a
work. You should use these to help you better understand
the author in question and his/her works. Remember to
