Biography - Dawn Evans-Casey Dawn Evans-Casey is the Enterprise Risk Manager for Citizen Gas & Coke Utility of Indianapolis, Indiana. In this position she helps ensure the financial strength and integrity of the utility by assessing risk in all divisions of the utility, making certain that adequate safe guards are in place, and routinely monitoring key control tests to help minimize losses. Currently, her focus is on managing and assessing the entity’s internal control accountability. Overall, Dawn has more than 20 years of audit and risk experience in a variety of business settings. Dawn graduated with honors from Talladega College obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, and earned a Masters Degree in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. In addition, she holds several professional certificates including: Certification in Control Self-Assessment (CCSA), Certified Compliance Examiner, Project Management Certification, and Supervisory Leadership Certification. Dawn has previously held positions with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Irwin Financial Corporation, and Crowe Chizek, LLC. In addition to working with the Indiana AABE chapter, Dawn actively contributes her talents to many other professional, civic and social organizations such as the National Association of Black Accountants, the National Black MBA Association, the Institute of Internal Auditors, the Central Indiana Academy of Finance, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs Inc., Saint Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc . .
