2014 FALL LEADERSHIP & TRAINING CONFERENCE

$86 per night (excluding taxes) per room, 1-4 people per room
Call and make your own reservations – say you are with the Crescent Ski Council Conference
to get the special room rate. Rooms can have a king bed or two queen beds. You can stay a
couple of days before and after the conference at the same low rate if you wish to enjoy the
Smokies more.
AMENITIES:
Indoor pool with waterfall and whirlpool, WI-FI thru-out; in-room coffee-makers, refrigerators in
many rooms; pavilion on LeConte Creek. Best buffet Smokey Mountain Breakfast in town for with
made-to-order waffles and omelets, cost includes coffee/tea/juice.**(Cost not included…However,
2 Reps per club are included for Sunday morning Meeting)
COST:
FREE when you come to have fun and take advantage of the learning opportunities. Workshops
are included. Lunches are on your own.
FUN STUFF:
Hike in the Smokies: Saturday, Nov. 1st
Hosted and guided by Tom Cressler, Knoxville Ski & Outing Club. Tom is a long-time enthusiast
of hiking and leads numerous hikes throughout East Tennessee for KSOC. Please indicate how
many wish to participate for planning purposes. Hikers will meet at about 10 am (just after Admin
mtg.; location TBD, and return about 3 pm. Pack your drinks and a lunch.
Saturday Night Halloween Costume Party. Judging will be at the party. $25 includes a full
dinner, DJ and dancing, beer keg and wine tickets.

Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014: Hotel registration: (No guarantee of room availability after this date.)
Individual cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to arrival date to prevent being charged for
the first night’s room and tax charges.

8:00 pm: Costume Party & Dance
Cash bar at Glenstone Lodge (no driving required).
Meetings are in Dogwood I, II, & Azalea Rooms adjacent
to Indoor Pool
8:30-11:00am: Admin. Meeting
8:30 am – 2:30 pm: Committee Meetings(Trips & Racing)
Race Workers Meeting will follow conclusion of Committee

9:00 am: CSC Fall Board Meeting
