$1000 mini grant for Teen Safe Driving Activism Projects - Can be used for chapter supplies, educational
items, trainings, activities and events.
 Free SAVE Chapter Affiliation - SAVE certification and student membership cards, regular updates on cuttingedge research related to Teen Safety, such as teen safe driving, tolerance, inclusion, diversity, bullying,
harassment, intimidation, and other topics; and access to a members-only section of the National SAVE website
with the latest information and technical assistance.

 Advisor Stipend – Upon receipt of the Final Activity report, the advisor will receive a $200 stipend.
 Ongoing Support and Technical Assistance for SAVE’s Youth Safety Efforts

Expectations of your Chapter:
 Activities - Chapters who receive sponsorship are expected to participate in the following activities:
 Participate in a Teen Safe Driving training.
 Activism Projects focusing on Teen Safe Driving – Chapters will plan student-directed projects
promoting teen safety including teen driver safety throughout the school year. Ideas include: posters,
brochures, parent/student fact sheets, announcements, assemblies, presentations at PTA meetings, and
SAVE Chapter membership drive activities. Key times for 2014-2015 activities:
 Back to School Safety Activities (August – September)
 America’s Safe Schools Week (October 20-24)
 Holidays (November/December)
 National Youth Violence Prevention Week (March 23-27)
 National Youth Traffic Safety Month/Prom/Graduation (May)
 X the TXT Event /Teen Safe Driving Rally – Chapters will conduct a Teen Safe Driving Rally/X the TXT
event during one of the key times and invite the media and an Allstate representative to attend the event.
 Promote events - Promote events, activities and projects with your local media contacts and school district office.
 Recognize Sponsorship / Involve Allstate Local Agents
 Recognition - SAVE Chapters will recognize the Allstate Foundation Sponsorship via signage at all
events, in press releases, and in materials distributed.
 Thank You Letters - SAVE chapters will have students create a thank you note(s) to the Allstate
Foundation thanking them for their support. This Thank You is to be submitted to the National SAVE
office.
 Involvement - SAVE chapters will invite their local Allstate Agents to assist with SAVE chapter
events/activities. This can include inviting them to the Teen Safe Driving Rally and SAVE chapter
meetings, asking them for assistance with planning events or providing volunteers or speakers. Please
contact National SAVE if you need assistance with securing Allstate representatives for your activities.
 Activity Reports
 SAVE chapters receiving sponsorship will submit a brief midyear activity report by December 12, 2014
highlighting SAVE Chapter activities for the fall, and a Final report by May 22, 2015 for spring activities.
Provide news clippings, photographs, etc. pertaining to your SAVE program, including a summary of
student populations serviced, demographics, names and contact information for any Allstate
representatives with whom you have worked, and other supporting materials.

Allstate Agent. Funds for this sponsorship are made possible by the Allstate Foundation and administered through the
National Association of Students Against Violence Everywhere (SAVE).
