Oral Hull Park is run by a group of volunteers who form the Oral Hull Foundation for the Blind. The park is reserved primarily for the use of the blind. Founded in 1962 with a generous gift from Oral and Albert Hull. Here the blind, the visually impaired, their friends & family can enjoy a walk in the garden, jogging, fishing, swimming, hold a meeting, or enjoy a rousing game of scrabble. Services include vocational counseling and guidance; evaluation; p hysical restoration; vocational and other training services; information and referral; job development and job search assistance. OVRS is a state and federally funded program that works in partnership with the community and with business to develop employment opportunities for people who have disabilities.
