The school is consistently ranked one of the top five in USA. The successful candidate will work on an NIH/NCI funded project on tumor segmentation and validation in patient PET/CT and MRI images. The validation will reconstruct a 3D pathology tumor volume from the surgically excised tumor and register it with in vivo PET/CT, MRI images. Image guided radiation therapy (IGRT) is a hot area in Radiation Oncology, which is a clinical field ideal for the applications of image analysis techniques. This position is immediately available.
