Safe Driving. Introduction Next year (or the year after) many of you will be getting your driver’s license. This is definitely an achievement and something to be proud of. However, getting into a car and behind a wheel is also a big responsibility. In the year 2003, 451 people were killed on our roads. 83 of these people were children, plus another 645 children were seriously injured. Our project is going to deal with teenage driving and safety. We are going to look at the causes of accidents on the roads and find out ways of preventing the accidents, which injure and kill so many people.
