RESPONSIBILITY : Lead Engineer – C++ /Java Development.
Served as lead for the Java Based project to automate Basic Acceptance Test (BAT) that is ran against daily builds. Sustaining C++ Development Project of CISCO, named Cisco Network
Registrar, which is a full-featured DNS/DHCP system that provides scalable naming and addressing services for service provider and enterprise networks. Cisco Network Registrar dramatically improves the reliability of naming and addressing services for enterprise networks. For cable ISPs, Cisco CNS Network
Registrar provides scalable DNS and DHCP services and forms the basis of a DOCSIS cable modem provisioning system. Good knowledge in DNS protocol and has exposure to DHCP, TFTP Protocols.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:

 Analyzed the tool to be used which includes Eclipse, Junit, Jtest and finally settled down with Cisco
Proprietary tool Aidan which is a wrapper over Eclipse.
Developed the Test plan and suites for various features in DNS (Domain Naming Server).
Designed the framework and developed test suites for testing Domain Naming Server (DNS) using
Java.



Developed and designed the email framework, which will send email once the test run finishes with the elaborate results about the test run and upload necessary logs.
 Developed the script and cron files to automate BATS.
 Single-handedly worked on the Integration testing of BAT (Basic Acceptance Test), integrating and testing various modules.
