Group: Website Platform Team
 Created the first version of the ServicesConsole, which is a set of software
components to dynamically collect, store and display various statistics about web
services. This tool is essential in monitoring the health of various Amazon websites.
 Responsible for all software aspects of the project: design, design reviews,
implementation, code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation. Code
written in C++ and Perl.

Software Development Engineer, Amazon.com, Seattle, WA
Group: Fulfillment Center Systems (Reverse Logistics & Sortation Team)
 Refactored and migrated Removals’ code to new platform (TOCB to Brazil)
 Added functionalities and fixed bugs for Removals tools in C++
 Designed and implemented new UI tool (PutUI) to be used on radio frequency
scanners in fulfillment centers. Written in C++.
 Used ZPL II (Zebra Programming Language II) to modify code to print new shipment labels.
 Designed and implemented a command-line tool called cprgtool that collects data
from daily warehouse reports and generate comparison graphs for various time
frames. Written in Perl with graphing functionalities through RRDs shared module.

Group: Software Platform Team
 Replaced an Amazon.com proprietary code generation tool with standard tool
set based on XSLT technology:
 Researched for XML family of tools and other possible solutions to fit the
company’s needs.
 Designed, implemented and tested the new XML based replacement.
 Worked closely with XML, XSLT, XML Schema, Java (and limited Perl).
 Worked with Developer Services and Third Party Software to get the new tool set
incorporated into Amazon systems.
 Wrote project proposal, project timeline and design hand-off documents for the team.
 Effectively communicated with other engineers involved in the project through design
and code review meetings.
 Fixed bugs within socket class (C++) from the core foundation library.
