COURSE INFORMATION Welcome to the English Language Course (General English and ESP)! This course is provided by the Faculty of Education in Jagodina. This course is taught by Ivana Cirkovic Miladinovic. 2. SESSIONS Sessions will be on Monday and will take the form of interactive lectures with the input from the tutor and a variety of reflective, analytical and evaluative tasks. Active involvement in tasks, discussion and sharing of ideas and experience will be related especially to the week’s topic in exercise classes. 3. AIMS • • to provide you with the linguistic knowledge, and language skills you will need to use in target language. to provide a basis for further development through self-directed language enhancement activity, peer exchange and reading. 4. OBJECTIVES • • • • Reading Listening Writing Speaking FOCUS WILL BE ON: Grammar & Vocabulary 5. TRANSFERABLE SKILLS: Greater confidence in four language skills: reading, listening, writing, speaking Revised grammar and more proficient usage of it Expanded vocabulary Bigger confidence in oral and written communication The ability to engage in critical thinking. 2 6.
