Kaiser is continuing to grow and we need to add a Capital

Kaiser is continuing to grow and we need to add a Capital Purchasing Agent. Current staff consists of

Kaye Latham (part-time), Ben Hatch, Mirna Reyes, Jinger Dittmer and me on staff. We work closely with the local Purchasing team also.

Salary varies and depends upon experienc e.

Kaiser has decentralized Purchasing, but our group was formed in 2007 under the continuous improvement VP to support all 12 Kaiser facilities in the US & Canada from Spokane. We also help lead a new Purchasing Council for all Kaiser Purchasing Agents, which was newly formed to help with collaboration and training, etc. We have a long way to go, but it’s a great first step.

Contract experience is very helpful, as our focus is on large equipment purchases, installations & construction contracts and services contract. The role has its share of tactical & strategic work and requires a high level of leadership, organization and decision making. It’s very dynamic. We work very closely with the Engineering team and our supplier base.

Thank you.
