3rd Quarter – Rocks and Minerals Syllabus Feb. 21st – Get new books (Earth Science – red book), collect items that need to be turned in from the energy unit, use the I-pads to research the layers of the Earth Feb. 22nd – Computer lab – grade rock cycle stage one and two, draw and label the four layers of the Earth and then explain what each layer is and what it is made of Feb. 23rd – Computer Lab – pre-quiz on Rocks (not for a grade), work on layers of the Earth, Research careers in Earth Science then answer the following questions (1. List 5 careers in Earth Science 2. Which one of those is your favorite 3. Explain what that career does 4. How much money would you be making in this career 5. What type of education background do you need 6. Why did you choose this career) Feb. 24th – Computer Lab – Finish the Earth layers and the Earth Science Careers – if finished early you can play free rice or any game on Energy Ant.
