The objective of subject:
Require our students are to obtain the skill of using computers in their daily work with ease.
The aim of this subject is to develop the business purpose computer skill of the students.

Evaluation of students’ performance
Students are given a practical mark at the end of the semester
Mid-term exams
It is compulsory to write two 80-minute mid-term exams during the weeks assigned for the
mid-term exams and to submit homework independently to get practice mark. The duration of
the written examinations is 80 minutes.

The time available is 80 minutes for each exam.
During the mid-term exams are allowed to use:
 His/Her own lecture-notes
 The printed textbook
The conditions of having the exam book signed:
The conditions of having the exam book signed is to submit a homework and participation in
the required number of practice hours. The acceptable limit of absence: 1/5th of the total
duration of obligatory session. If absence exceeds half of the total time of sessions the course
must be repeated. If absence exceeds 1/5th but less than half of the total time of session
students must follow the requirements of the department. If such a procedure is required it
must be announced at the home page of the department.
The scores of the mid-term exams can be converted into end of term marks only if the student
has achieved at least 30% in every part of the mid-term exams.

According to the Study and Examination Rules it is compulsory to ensure one occasion for
repeated examination in the first week of the examination term to the students with a signature
but with an unsatisfactory mark (1)

Relief from participation
With credits previously obtained in the basic training of any BBS institution, the course is
considered completed (if the student chose the traditional form of training). No previous
credit is acknowledged in the Bologna system. Studies and credits conducted in computer
science or information technology as well as credits obtained in other institutions of higher
education can be acknowledged based on individual evaluations according to the credit
accounting procedures (on the basis of the decision of the Credit Accounting Committee).
Qualification in information technology or computer science can be acknowledged upon
individual requests (following the decision of the Credit Accounting Committee). No other
reasons can be regarded to relieve a student from participating in the course.
