Currently the two airports Berlin Schönefeld (SXF) and Berlin Tegel (TXL) are still in operation. Please check your ticket at which airport you arrive and plan your trip to the hotel accordingly. All tickets purchased at vending machines on the platforms have to be validated at the little yellow or red boxes at the entrance to the platforms before entering the trains of S-Bahn or U-Bahn (local train or subway)! Tickets cannot be validated inside the trains. Tickets bought on buses and trams are usually already validated. If you are not sure, better ask the driver. Concerning the registration: We would be grateful, if you could keep at hand the conference fee of 30 Euro (unemployed/retired persons/students: 15 Euro) and in case you attend the traditional dinner also the exact amount of 25 Euro. Your cooperation is much appreciated! As you have seen in the conference programme, we offer a tour of Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin, Potsdamer Straße building on Thursday and Friday morning (8.30-9.00 h). We apologize for the early time, but the tour has to take place before the official opening hours in order to avoid disturbing our readers. The designation of the group will take place at the registration. Concerning the optional visit of the Mori Ogai Memorial Centre on Saturday afternoon the designation of the group (group 1: 14.00-15.00 h, group 2: 15.30-16.30 h) will also take place at the registration. We apologize that not all preferences as given on the application forms could be accommodated, as too many persons were interested in attending group 1. Thank you for your understanding! 3
