really really muddy and the songs suffer as a result Thankfully the guitars are plenty loud in the mix though, because they are the focalpoint of the band. Basically this is an awsome

DIOS HASTIO from Peru continue with vicious hardcore assult-burly blasting hardcore with just enough hooks that as times it has the same feel as the first WRETCHED EP. Total fucking
full bore attack. On the flip side we have SEPTICEMIA from Brazil - who give us three raging tracks which sorta combines classic Brazilian hardcore with a more modern US influence.

This band has a few eps and splits out now, and embarrassingly this is the first one I've heard, because they play some reall y great and intense hardcore. Full on d-beat attack here with
some slower changes thrown in. Brutal vocals and buzz – saw guitars drive the nails in further. Angry political lyrics sung in Finnish with English translations provided dealing an array of

KISMET HC are a great British punk-Hc band. I believe the tracks on their split Cd-r were better, but these ones are still very good, too. HAPPY BASTARDS are another female fronted
punk- Hc band from England. I like them alright, but something is missing. Maybe it’s the vocals. Let’s keep an eye out for them and wa it for their next recordings (Y.B. on www.punkharcore.info)

I'm a big Simpsons fan, so naming your band after the dynamic news anchor of Eye on Springfield can't be a bad idea . This re cord features a good looking cover with a nice fold out
design and neatly hand written lyrics . Each side was recorded at a different time though, one in February and one in October . Side one resembles Kontraattaque but with a dual vocal
element added, one on the lower end of things (like Kontraattaque) and one kinds snotty. Side two sounds like a completely di fferent band . The songs are faster and sound a lot like

than that, the sound is pretty well balanced for the distinguishing hardcore fan . Not much documentation other than the slee ve, and it lacks a lyric sheet as well . This is worthwhile

average, and the music ain’t groundbreaking either. Just as all japanese bands, they forgot to include a lyric sheet. FACE UP TO IT fit well on the other side, as they also play fast positive/
old style Hardcore. Their tracks are much better than on the first demo, the lyrics are great, but here again the sound quali ty is only average. The layout for this ep is great, both bands

Featuring a bunch of men that were in Failure Face, E .B .S ., Slap Of Reality, and End Of The Century Party and the artistic skills of Mad Marc Rude on the cover. It was cool to Rude's
work on a record once again . The music isn't as powerful as Failure Face nor as fast and frantic as End Of The Century Party , but rather more mid-tempo in the vein of mid '80s hardcore
stuff. The lyrics are well written in a style mastered by the likes of Infest and SSD and similar to the stuff Bob wrote for Failure Face . I liked this record, though I was expecting something
more akin to Failure Face and to be honest Murder-Suicide Pact is a bit ordinary in comparison. Still, it was great to ad another Mad Marc Rude cover to my collection, and when compared

Definitely very strange with random vocal changes and everything from barking to squeaking literally jumping out of nowhere . There is a cool brief essay on what the band is
about and against, in two languages no less, but there are no lyrics which kind of defeat the purpose. The son g titles are random and silly so I'm not sure if they are political in

Each band does two songs . Cloudburst play epic hard core that is harsh yet melodic and crushing. Lots of distortion on the vocals and emotional guitar riffs . I could do without
the drum machine interlude in between songs . Acrimonie are similar but I like their side a little hit better, not that the C loudburst side is bad or inferior, just that I prefer the
slightly faster tempo .of Acrimonie . They do one short fast song and then a long epic where they play a drum beat similar to the drum break on the first track of Neuroses' Souls At
Zero (if you don't know what I'm talking about I feel sorry for you) at least they didn't steel the guitar riffs as well but they do got some chantin g going on that progresses into a
cool ending . This reminds me of when I first got into hardcore with all the crazy screamo bands, but this band adds weight to it . This is a good recorde and I found myself enjoy

14 tracks at 39 :22 minutes . This CD contains some blazing buzzsaw punk from this Argentine hand . Their statement of purpos e reads something like this : “women, we encourage you
to participate in life. Let’s all join together toward the same goal : union and respect, through daily struggle, without differences with others” If I translated that decently, this band has
lofty goals and a positive attitude. Their songs address such topics as the “Disappeared Ones,” the troubles of the poor in Argentine cities, and the ambles in Somalia . Musically this is
simple, as fast as possible punk rock . What Penadas Por La. Ley lacks in complexity they make up for in fury and passion. Th e last five tracks are live recordings that bristle with

This band features ex-members of TOXXIC TV and it shows. The label advertises this as “libertarian punk-Hc ala DEAD KENNEDYS”. I believe HAYMARKET could be described as a
mix between those two bands. They have their feet deep into punk-hardcore but play really varied music, kinda like TOXXIC TV did, but more powerful, and with vocals that can bring
Jello Biafra to mind at times. The sound quality is good, the layout is great (really sarcastic and ironical), and the lyrics are brilliant, attacking the main evil of this modern world ;
“the free market”. All in all, some songs are excellent, while others are too slow or too technical for my tastes. I believe they should either play fast, or slow, but not in between. ;) The

Their first cd was ok, but terribly thrash metal oriented. There has always been a strong tradition of political thrash-metal/ crossover bands in Spain (SPEERETH, BEER MOSH, etc).
This new album sounds much more Hardcore. I guess the kids would call that power-violence. I like it quite a bit. It reminds me of old Spanish Hardcore (SUBTERRANEAN KIDS,

I liked their first Ep alright, as well as their live performances. When I first heard this Cd, I thought it was good, but the more I listen to it, the more I find it “ok”. The digipack is nice,
and the sound quality is great, which helps. The band plays raw punk-rock with hateful social lyrics, they remind me a lot of STEROIDS with a less Hc approach to things. If you’re into

Cd. That’s a bit sad. Anyway, those songs are good for the most part, and so are the lyrics. LOS REZIOS, APPARATUS and SICK TERROR stand out, only ZED bored me with their

vocals. TEKKEN still play their own style of goofy-grind full of covers and humour, with a couple noise/electronic elements here and there. All in all, I wouldn’t invest 2000 d ollars in

This is a Cd-r with a professional cover, co-released by 4 French labels. I was surprised no lyric sheet was included ! I’ve never been a huge URBAN BLIGHT fan. The band is actually
made of just one man, his guitar and a drum machine. It’s a funny idea, and the overall result is quite decent, but once you get past the surprise effect, well, it’s not awesome. Musically
it sounds like a more powerful BERURIER NOIR, but the songs aren’t groundbreaking. The lyrics are political. More than anything, the songs are recorded live, and while the sound is

This is their second album, and I think they put out two Eps before as well. I don’t know if it’s the production, but I was s urprised at how old school Hc they sound. They’re still
France’s own metal-punk/ raw dis-beat/ Scandinavian band, bringing to mind ANTI CIMEX, MOTORHEAD, and all those DISTORTION records’ outfits. The lyrics deal w ith drugs,
