Experience: 2006 to date – NLNG, Bonny Island, Rivers State, Nigeria.
Currently working with Nigeria LNG at Bonny Island. Producing 24 MT LNG per annum
(using APCI MCHE) from 6 trains in the Niger Delta. Trains constructed by consortium of
TSKJ. Worked as Shift Supervisor, Storage & Loading. Loading facilities include 2 Jetties for
loading LNG, Condensate loading, LPG loading. Currently working as Supervisor, Expansion
projects for the 7th Mega train of 8.8 MTPA, which is under consideration & for which
preparation work is on.
1998 to 2006 - “Oman LNG”: P O Box 888, SUR 411. Sultanate Of Oman.
Producing 9.9 MTPA LNG using APCI MCHE.
I have been involved in the development of training materials, the Preparation of start-up &
shutdown procedures and the building of “Specific Training Packages”.
Pre-Commissioning & commissioning of process plant & equipment. Assisted in Services
operations and worked as a “Loading Supervisor/Shift Instructor” covering Process and
Utilities.
1995 to 1998 - “Qatar Liquefied Gas Company, Ras Laffan”. P O Box 22666, Doha. QATAR
I worked as a Panel Operator in their LNG plant, producing LNG, Condensate and Sulphur.
This was a joint venture of Total, QGPC, and Mobil.
I was involved with the pre-commissioning, commissioning & start-up of utilities and the
LNG trains, Off-sites including Gas reception & distribution, LNG & LPG Storage & loading.
I was involved in Training & development of Qatari Operators, [Plant produced 6 MT LNG].
1992 to 1995: “Toyo Engineering Corporation, Japan”. Petronas Gas, Kerteh. MALAYSIA
– seconded to PETRONAS Gas, the national oil company of Malaysia in the Project
Management & Consultancy (PMC) group for commissioning, start-up, operation & training
local operators for three NGL gas plants at Kerteh-Terenggannu, W. Malaysia. Plant
constructed by Hyundai & Stone & Webster.
1986-1992: “ARL LTD”. W 72-73, MIDC Industrial Area, Thane Belapur Road, THANE. India
A research laboratory involved in the development of dyes & chemicals for other chemical Industries.
1980-1986: Abu Dhabi Gas Industries LTD (GASCO), P O Box 665, Abu Dhabi. U. A. E.
Process/Utility Operator with Bab, UAE. A Shell, Total, Partex, ADNOC joint venture.
Manufacturing NGLs’. Plant constructed by Fluor. Involved in pre-commissioning,

Nigeria LNG: Worked as Shift Loading Supervisor for loading LNG, LPG & Condensate ships.
Also involved in preparation works for the 7th Mega LNG train of 8.8 MTPA likely to
come up soon.
Oman LNG: Worked as Shift Instructor/ Sr. Operative Technician imparting On-the-job training to
local Omani Operators & preparing them for doing their B. Tec (U. K.). Also worked as
Loading Supervisor for loading LNG & Condensate ships.
Oman LNG is the only recognized company in the Gulf to impart this training.
Also conducted class room lectures in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Distillation,
Refrigeration & other subjects & processes related to Oil & Gas Industry.
Further, once the Omanis passed B. Tec they were also trained on Panel.
Prepared course material, for training, prepared question papers & conducted regular
tests to assess the progress of the Omani Operators. The trainees were tested orally, in
writing & practically.
Also guided the operators in Safety aspects of plant, work permit requirements,
conducted safety audits.
Operated the LNG plant, the biggest single train (2 x 3.3 MMTPA) in the world at that
time.
Processes involved were gas conditioning, measurement, distribution, sweetening,
dehydration, chilling & liquefaction. Propane & mixed refrigeration, LNG storage, LPG
separation, fractionation & storage.
Our plant was the first Oil & Gas plant in the world to use Computerised PTW system
& OTTER for taking plant rounds & readings.
Total number of trainees were 84.
QATAR GAS: Worked as Panel Operator in LNG plant. Beside Panel work, also involved in
commissioning of LNG, Off-sites – LNG, Condensate storage, Loading Jetties, Sea
water intake, Power Generation & utilities such as IA, CW, TCW, SCW, Nitrogen
Plant, Water treatment, IR etc.
Also trained Qatari Nationals by imparting OJT in field & on Panel.
PETRONAS (Malaysia): Seconded by Toyo Engineering Corporation to Petronas at Kerteh in
Terenggannu, West Malaysia. Worked with Project Management & Consultancy group.
Job involved Consultancy services for Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Start-up &
running the plant with Malaysian Operators & trainees. Imparted On the Job Training to
local operators. Also conducted class room lectures.
Also trained local Malaysians in aspects of plant operations, safety, storage,
commissioning etc.
ARL LABS (INDIA): Basically a chemical company producing dyes for textile Industry by batch
process.
GASCO (UAE): Gas plant. I was involved in Pre-commissioning, commissioning & start-up. Led a
team of 8 operators during commissioning of process & services. Processes
involved gas gathering, gas compression, distribution, liquefaction, propane
refrigeration, power generation, Inert gas generation, etc.
NOCIL (INDIA): Started my career as Process/Utility operator & trained 20 operators thereafter.
