Year-6 Virtual Transition Programme.
Aim: Raising awareness of , and learning about new school life and practices.
Objectives:
Within the 3 week programme year-6 pupils will:
 have had the opportunity to look at school life and the differences in secondary school,
 have had the opportunity to ask questions (to peer-tutors and teachers) which concern them
 an opportunity to look at their own learning (multiple intelligences).
 have the opportunity to meet peers from other schools who will be joining them in September (socially and in activities)
 experience being an on-line learner within My Classes (visiting and contributing to the on-line classroom discussion for a minimum
of 3 times a week ). This learning will generalise to school life as BGfL and My Classes becomes more a part of teaching and
learning in schools.
