Acquisition Process Model Version 4.5 Version Description Document Acquisition Process Model Version Number: Version 4.5 Date Released: 29 March 2013 Summary of Change(s) and Enhancements: The purpose of the Acquisition Process Model (APM) Version Description Document (VDD) is to identify and describe, at a high-level, the changes in the APM from the previous version to the new version being released. The VDD is a tool that supports project management, configuration management (CM) and quality control activities associated with the APM. A VDD will be developed for each minor and major release in accordance with the APM Configuration Management Plan. Version 4.5 incorporated a host of changes as listed below. The primary intent of this version is to update the model to reflect the Integrated Product Supply Element Guidebook and update process to reflect the revised AFI63-101.
