For these meetings, you will be grouped with individuals from the same district. You will be notified by e-mail once these meetings have been scheduled with a link of your itinerary as well as information to prepare you for the meetings. To Locate and Contact Your Senators and House of Representatives In order to access your legislators’ address and contact information, visit http://www.moga.state.mo.us/. Once you have reached the site, click on Legislator Lookup. When the new page appears, enter your zip code. To access a legislator’s contact information simply click on his/her name. The legislator’s picture will appear along with other information. Attire/Weather/Terrain You will be representing yourself, your agency, your profession, your professional association, and you will be operating on the “turf” of lawmakers. To be effective, plan to look the part. Business attire is recommended. Wear clothing and shoes suited for walking and standing for long periods. March can bring sudden and severe winter weather, including snow, ice, and hazardous driving conditions. Wear warm clothes. Do not place yourself or others at risk by traveling on unsafe roads or walkways to attend this event. Continuing Education This event offers up to 1.75 hours of continuing social work education hours that apply to renewal of the Missouri Social Worker License. To help us plan future events, please complete the evaluation forms. A CE reporting form will be provided in the registration material online for you to print and submit to the NASWMissouri Chapter staff or office upon completion of the program.
