WHO?




You should apply for the Passport2College Program if:
You will be graduating from high school in 2011 or 2012 and want to get a jump-start on your college education.
You have an interest in business and/or technology.
You have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
You are a U.S. citizen or have permanent residency status
WHY?
 Earn college credit from a regionally accredited school while you are still in high school without having to pay
tuition.
 Take courses taught by highly qualified, passionate and dedicated college professors.

WHEN? Classes will meet for 7 weeks beginning October 27, 2010 and ending on December 18, 2010.
HOW? Complete the enclosed application and submit it with the documents listed below.

Complete the DeVry Passport2College Program application (enclosed) and include the following items with your
application:
 Letter of recommendation from your principal, counselor or teacher.
 Current high school transcript
 Statement of Purpose addressing why you want to participate in this program and how the selected course fits
into your college plans.
 Copy of SAT/PSAT/ACT test results, if available (results noted on high school transcripts are acceptable).
DON’T DELAY! APPLICATION DEADLINE IS October 15, 2010.
Space is limited. Applicants will be evaluated for admission based on their statement of purpose, letter of
recommendation, GPA and test results. The Passport2College program includes tuition. You will be
responsible for paying for books, lab fees and other supplies.

Course Information – Midtown Manhattan Location
BUSN-115 Introduction to Business & Technology
This course introduces business and the environments in which businesses operate. Students examine the roles of
major functional areas of business and interrelationships among them. Organizational theories and techniques are
examined, and economic, cultural, political and technological factors affecting business organizations are evaluated.

NETW-202 Introduction to Networking with Lab
This course introduces the underlying technology of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs) and the
Internet. Topics include networking media, the Open System Interconnections (OSI) model, transmission control
protocol/Internet protocol (TCP/IP), an overview of routing and switching, and small network configuration and
troubleshooting.
