WSOCTV – Multiple Opportunities
Gaston County – Multiple Positions
Beacon Hill – 2 positons
Logistics client who needs two bright and ambitious graduates. This company is a
leader in the industry with 180 offices nationwide and state-of-the-art computer
systems… the envy of it’s competitors. This position will enable a new graduate to be a
part of an industry that is highly competitive…in fact, I met with the North Carolina
Center for Global Logistics last year and they stated that North Carolina, a major hub in
the mid-Atlantic, will have a shortage of talent in the logistics industry over the next 1030 years and they are even approaching colleges to bring logistics to their curriculum.
These positions are new to the company and the ONLY ones where you can come onboard with no logistics experience whatsoever.
The best fit for this position will be someone who wants an opportunity to learn an
industry with great potential for growth. The winning candidate will be someone who
shows initiative and understands that thru great effort, there is great reward. They will
learn the company’s core products, modes and services of the company and then it is
up to them how fast they climb the ladder, as this company is growing fast!
Here is a brief job description: Works with Sales staff and Sales Manager to ensure
leads are properly researched and passed to the sales group. Focuses on researching
the core products, modes and services of their branch. Majority of interactions will be
determining who the decision makers are. Goes on sales calls with outside sales
representatives to gain knowledge and experience. Will participate in face-to-face
meetings, typically partnering with a more senior sales representative.
They won't be involved in operations such as sourcing carriers and/or growers,
negotiating rates, but eventually, after training, no more than 20% of the time. Does
NOT do account administration such as tracking, tracing and appointment scheduling.
The office culture is work/life balance, family oriented and casual attire. Please let me
know if you have any questions and if this posting will hit next Wednesday. I thank you
in advance for your assistance!
