Objetivo:
By the end of the school year, if the requirements are met, the student will be
able to communicate in Spanish, gain knowledge and understanding of other
cultures, connect with other disciplines, and participate in bilingual school
settings in a novice-med level.
Materiales:
Each student is responsible for the textbook assigned to him/her for the year.
Students are NOT allowed to write in the textbook. Each student will have a
version of supplemental activities for additional practice. You will need a
workbook to be purchased at the beginning of the school year, three-ring
binder, composition notebook, pencils, erasers, color pencils/crayons and black
or blue ink pen. NO RED INK PEN!!
Tarea:
Homework for each class period will be based on what was discussed in the
class. There will be not homework that the student won't be able to refer the
notes taken in class. Assignments are to be turned in at the beginning of class
on the due date.
Ausencias:
If you have an excused absence, you will be able to complete the assignment
for full credit up to 1week from the day you return. It is the students’
responsibility to make arrangements to make-up tests before or after school. If
you are found sluffing, you will not be able to make-up any work missed.
Evaluación
Your final grade will be based on your assignments, quizzes, tests, reading and
speaking assignments, and other projects. They will be added up and
converted into a percentage for a letter grade following this scale:
93-100 A
80-82 B65-69 D+
90-92 A77-79 C+
60-64 D
87-89 B+
73-76 C
57-60 D83-86 B

Suggestions
It is always important that the student of a second language is exposed to the
targeted language for longer periods than the classroom allotted time. Please
allow the child to listen to teacher recommended reading, songs and TV
programming.

o 4-8 Lectura de capitulo, repaso y examen de etapa.
o 11-15 Presentación de vocabulario Unidad 1 Etapa 2.
o 18-22 Repaso de verbos con diferente raíz, prueba de vocabulario.

Diciembre
o 2-6 Trabajo sobre arte de galería.
o 9-13 Repaso de Etapa, Examen de Etapa. Prueba oral.
o 26-30 Días festivos en el mundo hispano.

