Objective
My goal is to obtain a challenging position that utilizes my experience in project management and
application architecture. Specifically, I would like a position where an opportunity exists for personal
growth and advancement.

 2003 - Current
Sierra Military Health Services Baltimore, Md
Manager, Web Based Applications – IS Department
 Lead data transition project team. This involved resource allocation and proactive monitoring of the project.
To assist in the monitoring process, I was tasked with developing a communication plan, allocating the
necessary resources, and publishing a project plan.
 Manage several project initiatives that automate business processes to achieve greater productivity and
efficiency throughout the organization. Managing these initiatives required scheduling, resource planning,
and project planning. Scheduling for the larger projects was developed and published using MS Project.
 Monitor requests for work to ensure the completion in a timely manner, and allocate resources to handle
both new and existing project requests.
 Encourage and enforce secure application development techniques and strategies, within the application
development teams.
 Train and assist application development teams in getting training on new technology and development
techniques. This became even more important during the company’s transition period.
 Successfully completed training required for IT Project+ certification.
 2001 - 2003

Sr. Web Applications Developer (Acting Manager) – IS Department
 Managed day-to-day operations of Application Services Department, including scheduling, resource
planning, and project planning. This included allocating resources to handle new and existing project
requests.
 Led application integration projects to support the enterprise, including imaging, scanning, and enterprise
workflow projects.
 Developed web services designed to assist in the integration between various custom and purchased
applications, such as the integration between E-Tracker (Custom CRM Application) and Laser Fiche
(COTS - Document Imaging solution).
 Participated in various management and project planning meetings and assist Senior Management in
Enterprise Architecture and Planning.
 Encouraged and enforced secure application development techniques and strategies, within the application
development teams.
 Trained application development teams on new technology and development techniques.
 Developed secure web based applications for both the Internet and intranet, including the Online
Enrollment Payment System (E-Commerce) and the External Digital Dashboard (Secure Reports Portal).
This often involved meeting and working with various user and technical areas within the organization, such
as Helpdesk, Network Services, Claims, Enrollment, Quality Assurance, and Provider Network Operations.
 Researched, demonstrated, and recommended the purchase of various tools and technologies to support
the department and the organization.

 Developed and maintained various Internet applications including Provider Search (Saving SMHS
over $60,000 a year), List Server, Link Counter, and Link Router.
 Created and maintained database driven applications that provide solutions for the enterprise,
including a testing database to support training provided by HR.
 Developed and maintained various intranet applications including E-Tracker (CRM), SMHS Digital
Dashboard (Enterprise Reports Portal), and TCOY (Request Fulfillment System).
 Developed various management and administrative utilities that support the various Internet and
intranet applications developed at SMHS.
