INCREASING TRAFFIC CONGESTION IN CAMBRIDGE CITY CENTRE. B. INCREASING UNDER-AGE ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION. C. INCREASING HOUSE BUILDING IN EAST NORTHAMPTONSHIRE. Explain the causes of the economic issue. Explain the economic effects of the economic issue. Analyse the possible solutions to the economic issue. (50 marks) How the work produced will fit into subsequent work and the specification as a whole? All the tasks will be studied in the Year 12 (The operation of markets & market failure) How the work should be presented Parts One & Two are short answers in full sentences AO1 & AO2 Part Three needs to be written as an essay which might be organised in the following way. Introduction Main body Conclusion What is the economic issue? What data can you use to support this issue? AO1 & AO2 Explain the causes of the economic issue Explain the effects of the economic issue Explain the possible solutions to the economic issue AO2 & AO3 What does the success of these solutions depend upon? Will they work, or what is likely to stop them working? Part Three will be marked and assessed by Mr. Hill Success criteria Full guidance will be provided within the Induction lessons on how to complete each part. Students should use the library and the internet to complete parts one & two. Time will be allocated within Induction lessons to discuss the different features of part three and the need to follow an essay structure. Students will need to ensure that all parts are completed in their own words rather than just cutting & pasting from websites. Students will need to hand-write their essay.
