Class of ’67
Fred Szabo, a retired Brook Park Police Department police officer, was elected a member of the Berea
City Schools Board of Education, November 8, 2005. He resides in Brook Park.

Debra Pawlik adopted her grandson, Lance Eugene, 3, in November 2005. Debra and Lance reside in

Kim (Gomez) DeFelice and husband Don celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary, August 8, 2005.
They renewed their wedding vows in Las Vegas, Nevada, July 13, 2005, and celebrated their marital
milestone with family and friends, including sons Anthony DeFelice, ’99, and Jordan DeFelice, ’03,
August 7, 2005, in Strongsville. Kim and family reside in Middleburg Hts.

Mike Ciaravino was inducted into the Polaris Joint Vocational Hall of Fame, Summer 2005. Mike, an
attorney, and former assistant city prosecutor and assistant law director for the city of Maple Hts., is
currently mayor of Maple Hts., where he also resides.

Strongsville office. She is also the Berea City School District’s part-time Alumni Affairs Coordinator.

scleroderma, an autoimmune disease. Survivors include husband David; children Heather (Thompson)

Class of ’80
Julie (Kress) Petrik, May 15, 2005, in Greater Cleveland, after a nearly-three-year battle against breast
cancer. Survivors include husband Frank; mother Patricia Agnello; father Ronald Kress; and siblings Mike
Kress, ’81, and Dan Kress, ’87.
