Finding information in online JOURNAL catalogs:
Basic BIOSIS
A subset of the larger BIOSIS - biological sciences information service - it contains the most
current five-years worth of biosciences data. Designed for the undergraduate biology student.
CINAHL
Covers the literature indexed in virtually all nursing English-language journals, from 1940 to the
present, as well as 13 affiliated allied health disciplines.
EBSCO Academic Search Elite
Offers information in nearly every area of academic study. Provides full text for nearly 1,850
publications, including more than 1,250 peer reviewed journals. Indexes literature back to 1985.

EBSCO Clinical Pharmacology
Contains current, concise, and clinically-relevant drug monographs for all U.S. prescription
drugs, hard-to-find herbal and nutritional supplements, over-the-counter products and new and
investigational drugs.
EBSCO HealthSource - Nursing Academic Edition
Chiefly a nursing resource with full text capability, over 600 scholarly full text journals including
400 peer reviewed, and an additional 850 are abstracted and indexed.
PsychINFO
Indexes more than 1700 leading psychological, psychiatric, and related journal titles. Coverage:
to 1995 for abstracts; about 20% of all titles available in full-text from 1996 to the present.
PubMed
A product of the National Library of Medicine this search service provides access to more than
11 million Medline citations.
