Always save the merchant
copy of the receipt and offer
the customer a copy.
Always write down the last 5
digits of the customer’s EBT
number, located on the front
of their card, as well as the
amount of FB received, all
recorded in binder.
At the end of the market you
will write receipts for the FB
the farmers’ received. Write,
on carbon double-layered
paper, the amount of FB
received separated, in total
FB, signed and dated. Take
the coins, already separated
and counted, putting them in
separate bags, then all
together in one bag along
with a copy of the receipt.
Given the farmer the other
copy.
OutReach
Outreach is necessary for
the growth and success of
Farm Fresh RI.
As a volunteer, you will be
given an area to cover,
possibly with a partner, along
with a list of places within
that area to “reach out” to.
You will bring any appropriate
flyer, posters, stickers,
magazines, etc. as well as a
positive attitude!
When promoting Farm Fresh
RI, politely introduce yourself
and Farm Fresh as an
organization. Offer them
your materials, depending on
their accommodations, and
offer contact information.
Don’t staple things to phone
polls!
