Instructions
 Create a Concept map using 6-8 vocabulary words
 Write each word on a separate post-it note.
 Place general terms that include other concepts at the top.
 Organize your words by ranking, sequencing or grouping them. Place
your post-its (words) on a large sheet of paper and link the words with
arrows/lines.
 Concept maps may have more than one link going to or from terms.
Links may also go in two directions.
 Explain your map to your teacher. Your teacher will approve your map
so that you can make a final concept map on a large sheet of paper.
 Final Copy: Draw boxes or circles where you placed your post-its and
write in each of your words.
 Use a straight edge to create links between terms. Write a verb to show
the relationship between terms. Be artistic on your final copy.
