ON THE RESEARCH MISCONDUCT
According to the Office of Research Integrity of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Office of Investigations of the National Science Foundation research misconduct means fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism in proposing, performing, or reviewing research, or in reporting research results.

Fabrication is making up data or results and recording or reporting them.
Falsification is manipulating research materials, equipment, or processes, or changing or omitting data or results such that the research is not accurately represented in the research record.
Plagiarism is the appropriation of another person's ideas, processes, results, or words without giving appropriate credit.
The federal regulations require Sinclair Community College to demonstrate that it has provided training to grant-funded Principal Investigators, Co-Principal Investigators, and Senior Personnel on
appropriate federal policies and Sinclair procedures relating to research misconduct. To document how you have fulfilled this requirement, please indicate below that you have attended research misconduct training:
