Awards:
While I was studying in Qom, I received an award for best student in Persian
language in the year, 1368 (Iranian calendar). And two awards for being the top 3
best student in the year, 1411 and 1412 (Iranian calendar).
My Teachers:
Syaikh Muhammad Bahjat; I had several years of “duruse khususi” (i.e.
exclusively and direct supervision) under his supervision. The subjects were
Syarh Al-Manzumah- on hikmat, Syifa’ –kitab al-Burhan and kitab al-Ilahiyyat,
Tamhid al-Qawaid of Ibn Turkah.
Syaikh Ayatullah Jawadi Amuli;
I studied several years of al-Asfar al-Arba’ah, volumes 1,2,6,7,8,9 under Syaikh
Jawadi. And with his personal permission and guidance, I studied the Tamhid
al-Qawa’id of Ibn Turkah and Fusus al-Hikam of Ibn ‘Arabi.
Syaikh Ayatullah Hasan Zadeh Amuli;
I had his personal permission to benefit from his recorded classes of Fusus and
Misbah al-Uns. I also benefited from his recorded Asfar classes and al-Isyarat.

Note:
After I returned from Iran, back to Singapore, I became a private tutor, teaching
various academic subjects for primary and secondary levels. I was teaching
English, Mathematics, Science and other subjects. I was a tutor for about 5
consecutive years.
I have written many articles in various subjects; mostly tasawwuf, for several
institutions.
Present Status:
Presently teaching in Yayasan Paramadina since 2006. Mainly teaching the Fusus
al-Hikam of Ibn ‘Arabi.
Currently teaching in ICAS in Islamic Philosophy and Islamic Mysticism.
