Frances to send out the notes from Philip Douch’s FM
presentation.

CAF – Post 16 group is meeting in Gloucester. Details are
available from Natalie Taylor
Gloucestershire Service Directory and Family
Information Service
Jane Lakin gave a presentation and update on Advice and
Guidance for Families. This includes:
Family Information Service (FIS)
Choice Advice
Parent Partnership Service
Service Directory www.gloscypdirectory.org.uk
The Service Directory holds local and national information
and builds on the Guide database.
It is supported by a helpline, email and text options
It can be accessed via the internet.

There are also 5 pilot Information points, including one in
Shire Hall.
It is important that voluntary organisations add information
so the directory is as complete as possible. It is particularly
important to find out about free activities.
Feedback is welcome.
Gaps in services that are identified can be highlighted to the
commissioning team.
The GoGoGlos website is being developed for young people
and will be linked to the directory.
Youth Support Service update
Frances updated the group on the restructure of youth
support services.
Julie Large has been appointed as Area Manager for the
Youth Support Service in Gloucester (the Youth Service and
Connexions). Terry Pullin is the Deputy Area Manager. It
was agreed by the group that Julie and Terry will take over
FM
the chairing of Gloucester CYPAG meetings. Frances to
inform Gloucester Partnership and David Brown
CYPD Update
Chris Cooke updated the group on the move towards locality
hubs. There will be 9 hubs, 3 in Gloucester reflecting the
need in the city.
Services based in the hubs will include social care, EWOs,
Ed Psychs and behavioural support.
A Partnership Manager will be appointed for each hub from
April.
The hubs will link with Extended Services clusters.
Youth Offer Funding
Ivor Daniel, Morgana Lovell and Mark Stapleton met as a
sub group to award the Youth Offer Funding for winter
activities. £10,000 was allocated between 15 groups. The
groups have been issued with monitoring agreements and
evaluation forms.
The funding needs to be used by the end of March.
CYPAG Action Plan
It was agreed that the Action Plan should be reviewed at the
next meeting and subgroups to take forward the actions
should be reformed. The Chairs of the group will need to
report progress to Gloucestershire Partnership at the end of
March.
