Learn for a Lifetime!
Township High School District 211 is once again pleased to offer
a varied and rich array of continuing education opportunities to all
members of our community. This catalog serves both as a listing
of this year’s course offerings and I also encourage you to consider
it your personal invitation to continue your own learning. A quote
attributed to Mahatma Ghandi provides inspiration to all: “Live as if
you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.”
This year’s offerings include many of our most popular courses,
including cooking, basket weaving, painting, and financial topics.
Dr. Cates
We have also added courses in Advanced iPhone Tips, Chicago Ghost
Stories, Master Your Mental Magic and the Young at Heart exercise class. I invite you to
look through the different topics to find a subject that interests you. The courses are taught
informally in an encouraging setting and all levels of skills and learners are welcome.
If you have thought about learning a particular subject and we do not offer it during the
upcoming semester, please take a moment to let us know what topics or skill areas would
interest you. Similarly, if you have knowledge in a certain subject area or you possess a skill
that has enriched your life that you would like to share with others, I warmly invite you
to contact us as we are always interested in expanding our offerings and drawing upon our
local talent.
