Family Tree Assignment
1. Copy the House of Atreus family tree on to your own
paper, leaving a bit more room than I have between boxes
and underneath boxes.
2. Read the House of Atreus chapter in the book.
3. Chose symbolic lines that will connect the characters
together. For example you might choose dotted lines to
connect characters who are related by family, but a ring to
connect those that are married.
4. Use these symbolic lines to connect the characters
together both in their own generation and between
generations. Create a key on your paper that explains these
connections.
5. Underneath each character box you will need to write a
few lines explaining what the previous generation did to that
character as well as important events that happen to this
character. You can list these as bullet points.
